Commercial Journeyman Electrician

Orange Electric is a growing electrical contractor seeking experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for commercial, industrial, and service work throughout Utah.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Apply NEC requirements and local electrical codes.
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment installation.
- Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and team members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
- Complete accurate job documentation.
- Assist with project planning and material management.
- Mentor apprentices and support a positive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Utah Commercial Journeyman Electrician License
- Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Service electrical experience
- Leadership or crew lead experience
- Knowledge of industrial controls, motors, and automation systems
- Strong customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
